After a very succesful first improvised edition it was time to do it properly! And so we created the second edition of the amazing Psylan Festival with an inspiring group of passionate and creative volunteers. An unforgettable experience in which all of us grew tremendously. It was really insightful to be part of the crew building an entire festival from start to finish. I now have more respect than ever for all the people who make these amazing festivals happen all over the world.

I was part of the creative team. Helping out with ideas and designs for decor, banners, graphics, video’s and stages. Supporting where I could in constructing the festival, and so gained a fair bit of experience working with trusses and lifts. My main job was VJing the mainstage, which I did together with the team we formed last year. It was an experience to run a stage of this size for this amount of time! (over 40 hours!)I had the priviledge to VJ during some of our festivals biggest sets, and it is fair to say I checked a bucketlist item, having VJed for names such as Ace Ventura and Electric Universe.

Besides my VJing work I had the tremendous honour to open the mainstage with my DJ set. This meant a lot to me. Psylan 2022 is where I played my first ever live public Psytrance DJ set, and to be able to kick-off this second edition of the festival was truly amazing!

I left the festival very tired indeed, I can safely say I never worked this much in one week ever in my life before. But even more than I was tired I felt inpsired! Psylan 2023 truly kicked the Ineffable journey into the next gear! I already cannot wait for all the adventures still to be had on this incredible journey.
